Terms of Service
Clear expectations for your website, your project and your information.
Effective October 20, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These terms govern this website and services provided by Myou, an independent business operated by Abbas Khan. A written project agreement defines your particular engagement. If project-specific terms conflict, the agreed project terms apply to that engagement, subject to mandatory law.
2. Services
Services include website design, development, landing pages, redesigns, maintenance, performance optimization and basic troubleshooting as specifically agreed. No sales, revenue, search-ranking or business-growth results are guaranteed.
3. Quotes and Project Scope
Quotes define pages, features, deliverables, fees, assumptions and estimated timing. Work begins only after scope and any required initial payment are agreed. Starting prices are estimates, not a commitment to perform every project at that price.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Provide accurate requirements, timely feedback, approved content and necessary authorized access. Designate a person to consolidate feedback. Do not send passwords through the inquiry form; arrange secure access separately.
5. Content Supplied by Customers
You retain responsibility for the accuracy, legality and permission to use supplied text, images, trademarks and other content. You authorize use of that content only as needed to perform the agreed service.
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership or licenses to custom deliverables and any transfer after agreed payment are defined in the project agreement. Pre-existing tools, reusable code and third-party materials retain their original ownership and license terms. No third-party rights are transferred beyond the applicable license.
7. Third-Party Services
Approved external services may carry separate fees and terms. Myou cannot control their availability, pricing or policies. Purchases and account responsibilities are specified before commitment.
8. Project Timelines
Starter estimates are 5–10 business days and Business estimates are 7–14 business days after scope approval and required content receipt. Custom timelines follow requirements review. Feedback delays, changes and technical dependencies may affect estimates; relevant changes will be communicated.
9. Revisions
Starter includes two revision rounds; Business includes three. Each round is consolidated feedback within scope. New features, new pages or substantially changed direction may require an additional quote.
10. Payments
Amounts, due dates, deposits if any, taxes where applicable and accepted payment methods are defined in the written agreement. This website collects no payments or payment card details. Final files or access are delivered after completion and outstanding agreed payment, as specified in the agreement.
11. Project Changes
Requests to change scope are reviewed. Any resulting change to price, schedule or deliverables must be agreed in writing before additional work proceeds.
12. Cancellation
You may request cancellation as early as possible. Completed work and approved project-specific expenses may incur charges; unperformed work is reviewed under the Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
13. Refunds
Refunds are assessed according to work performed, the project agreement and the Refund & Dispute Policy. Work completed and delivered may be non-refundable; approved refunds reflect unperformed work. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.
14. Website Hosting and Domains
Domain and hosting costs are separate unless expressly included. Ownership, renewal, account access, backups and ongoing operation are assigned in the project agreement. The customer remains responsible for renewals unless a separate service covers them.
15. Third-Party Software
Libraries, software, fonts and licensed assets are subject to their own terms. Paid licenses, renewal fees and ongoing update obligations must be identified in the project scope. Future compatibility with every third-party change is not guaranteed.
16. Portfolio Usage
Customer work, names or marks will be displayed in a portfolio only where agreed or otherwise permitted. Confidential project information will not be published without authorization.
17. Prohibited Customer Content
Do not request unlawful, deceptive, infringing, malicious or abusive content or functionality. The studio may decline or stop work involving such material, with any remaining balance or refund assessed fairly under the agreement and applicable law.
18. Warranty Disclaimer
Services will be performed with reasonable care under the agreed scope. Except for express written commitments and mandatory legal rights, no additional warranty of uninterrupted operation, universal compatibility or a particular commercial outcome is made. Statutory warranties that cannot be excluded remain in effect.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the extent legally permitted, the studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Any project-specific liability allocation must be stated in the written agreement. Nothing excludes liability that applicable law prohibits excluding, including fraud or other non-excludable misconduct.
20. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, customers are responsible for third-party claims directly arising from customer-supplied materials they were not authorized to use. Any indemnity is limited to that responsibility and does not extend to the studio’s own misconduct. Relevant claims should be promptly communicated and reasonably cooperated on.
21. Service Availability
The informational website or third-party systems may be unavailable during maintenance or disruptions. Ongoing uptime monitoring, backups and maintenance are included only where separately agreed.
22. Termination
Either party may end an engagement according to the project agreement. Material breaches should be communicated with a reasonable opportunity to resolve them when practical. Work performed, permitted expense commitments and delivery rights will be reviewed under the applicable cancellation and refund terms.
23. Governing Law
Applicable law governs to the extent required, without overriding mandatory consumer protections or other applicable rights. No mandatory arbitration or waiver of statutory remedies is imposed by these terms.
24. Changes to Terms
Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes to an existing signed project agreement require the applicable agreement process and do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
